My Story

My love for people shows through my artwork. I am a teacher, a wife and a mother. I have an MFA in Art Education from William Carey University and a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Mississippi State University. I have taught secondary Art for 11 years.  I feel it is within my gift of art to paint people who inspire me and who touch my life in some way. I am desperate to show how beautiful the soul is through my eyes.
Painting a portrait is like keeping that person's secret and giving the most beautiful of hints.
